II. General information about data processing

1. Scope of the processing of personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (DSG) for the purpose of legal representation or to fulfil the mandate agreement and/or a legal, official or judicial mandate, to carry out pre-contractual measures and to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations. Where necessary, personal data may also be processed to protect legitimate interests or to fulfil obligations in the public interest.

Furthermore, the processing of personal data of our website users is limited to the data required to provide a functional website and our content and services.

We only collect personal data that is actually required for the fulfilment and processing of our tasks and services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

2. Provision of the website

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically records data and information about the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data is gathered in this conjunction:

  • information about the browser type and the version used
  • the operating system of the user
  • the internet service provider of the user
  • the IP address of the user
  • date and time of the accessing
  • websites from which the system of the user reaches our website

We store this information for a maximum period of four months. This data is not merged with other data sources. Storage is performed for reasons of data security, in order to ensure the stability and operating reliability of our system.

3. Plugins

3.1 Google Maps

This website uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

It is necessary to save your IP address in order to use the functions of Google Maps. As a rule, this information is transferred to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. The provider of this website has no influence over this data transfer.

The Google Maps service is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online services and to make it easier to find the sites indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website in order to make our services more user-friendly. Cookies are small computer files that your browser automatically creates and are saved on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc.) when you visit our website. The cookies remain saved until you delete them. This enables us to identify your browser the next time you visit.

You also have the right to revoke any possible consent to use your personal data at any time.

If you are of the view that the processing of your personal data by us breaches the applicable data protection provisions, you have the opportunity to complain to the surveillance authority for data protection. 6. Data security and liability disclaimer

We generally use appropriate technical and organisational security measures when processing data in order to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. You can recognise whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the key or lock symbol in the address bar of your browser.

However, it should be noted that the transmission of data on the Internet can have security gaps and that we cannot guarantee complete protection. For this reason, it is expressly pointed out that, despite the endeavours to comply with the due diligence measures, no liability is accepted for damage caused by such security gaps.

7. Transmission of data to third parties

In general, personal data will not be passed on to third parties. However, in order to process your enquiry or fulfil your order, it is possible that your data may be forwarded to third parties (e.g. courts, authorities, counterparties, insurance companies, service providers, IT support, etc.) in individual cases if necessary or required by law. 8. Duration of data storage

If necessary, we process and store your personal data for the duration of our business relationship or for the fulfilment of contractual purposes as well as on the basis of statutory retention and documentation obligations or to protect legitimate interests, in particular to defend against any liability claims.

9. File downloads

We do not demand any personal data from you in order to enable you to download files from our website.

10. Establishing contacts

If you send us an email or other electronic message, the data processing is generally carried out at your request and is required in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the stated purposes (fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures) for the appropriate processing of the mandate and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the client relationship.
